Dr. Rob Donnelly
Ph.D., C.Geol., F.G.S., M.I.Q., M.I.M.M.M.
A geologist by qualification, Rob obtained his first degree from Liverpool University and his doctorate from the University of Wales (Cardiff), where his research was sponsored by British Coal Opencast. He joined ARC in 1988, carrying out various roles including Senior Geologist, Drilling Manager, Landfill Manager and Project Development Manager. In 2000 he moved to Hanson Brick as Head of Minerals Planning and Estates. In 2006 he was appointed Operations Services Director for Hanson Building Products where he was involved in high level strategic decision making, and headed up support functions including legal, property, procurement, minerals and planning, product and technical services and sustainability (energy, environment, etc.). Rob joined Geoplan in August 2008 as a director and partner.
